• Important notice Franco Gulli International Violin Competition

  • Dear participants,

Due to the difficult and unpredictable situation with Covid-19 and new obligations for the Digital Covid certificate (the Green Pass issued by the health authorities of one’s own home country) we regretfully feel the necessity to postpone the first edition of the Franco Gulli International Violin Competition.
This difficult decision was made in line with directives by health authorities, as well as in collaboration with our partners. We are convinced that this is the right thing to do for the health of all participants and members of the Jury.
We recognize the significant efforts all applicants have made to participate and we could have decided to transform our live competition into a virtual contest but we strongly think that it is fundamental for our participants to perform live to fully express their musical virtues.
We are deeply sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but we can see no other way forward at this time.

For completed registrations (fees paid) two options are available:

    1) applicants may choose to retain the fees until the Covid-19 crisis stabilizes and it becomes possible to hold the competition normally. In this case applicants may also decide to reopen submissions adding or modifying chosen music pieces.

    2) applicants may ask for reimbursement at gulli@ariadimusica.com specifying Bank Identification Code.

For incomplete registrations (fees not paid) applicants may choose to keep their registrations valid. Please inform us by writing to gulli@ariadimusica.com

Looking forward to welcoming all our competitors sharing the enthusiasm for the Franco Gulli International Violin competition.
Please keep safe and continue practicing! We will inform you about the new scheduling of this violin competition as soon as possible.

    Best wishes
